I got the feltmaking ‘bug’ after attending a course at the National Conservation Centre - Liverpool.
I returned home not wanting to do anything but make felt, and was very excited about the endless possibilities of products and colour combinations. Initially I only intended to make things for myself and family, and was amazed at the number of friends, and then friends of friends who saw my bags and tea cosies and asked me to make for them. This response led me to approach a craft gallery in Chester, where they now display and sell a selection of my products.
I work from my garden studio on the welsh border, and much of my inspiration comes from travelling around Britain with my family in our 30 year old camper van. I use the softest merino wool which gives a luxurious finish, and comes in a huge selection of beautiful colours, making each item wonderful to touch and visually eye-catching.
